Hi!! I am Lynn Smith, Photographer and Boutique!!

I am excited to say I have re-branded my business to Boutique! This is an exciting new change for me and I want to share with you the what and why! So I've made the exciting transition to a full service boutique business.

This business model is very different than other photographers because I work closely with each and every one of my clients with the purpose of creating artwork for their homes with the custom images we capture. Instead of just handing over a thumb drive of digital files, all images leave my business as finished art – framed prints, canvases, image boxes or albums – all amazing products that I’ve curated just for you! In order to do this well, there is more hand holding throughout the whole process.

Pictures have a powerful way of helping us remember things we would otherwise completely forget.  Did you know research states that children whose parents display family photographs in the home grow up with a greater confidence, connection and sense of belonging? I can think of no better investment than giving our kids a sense of meaning and belonging in this world. It’s the foundation children need and rely on from their families. And we can do this all while adding to our home décor and producing art that can be handed down to the the next generation!

Raise your hand if you are a busy mom!! I get it. I really do. Even if you intended to order something lovely for your walls, or produce it yourself from digital files purchased, life got in the way. 

And it doesn’t help that many folks don’t really know what to do with the digital images anyway. 

Where should I hang them in the home?

 Oh wait why did we wear those outfits? They don’t match my décor!

Shoot the space I want to put it is tall and skinny and this was shot long and wide….

Should I frame or order canvas?

What size works best for this wall?

What images could be hung together as a cohesive set?

And on and on.

Now there have been many of you that worked with me to create art for your home and what I have found – in the more than 9 years I have been photographing people is that these are my happiest and most satisfied clients – they are so glad they have these images on their walls of THEIR people – images that were so thoughtfully created and give them goose bumps every time they look at them.

 I meet with my clients and talk about outfits, backgrounds and discuss any desires and needs. I create custom images based on that information and they return after the session for the presentation of the final images and to place the order and then to produce your heirloom quality artwork pieces for your home.
